"Parking was kind of a nightmare"
I’m sure I would’ve stayed if parking hadn’t been such a hassle. I drove around for a while, couldn’t find a spot, and eventually just left annoyed. Maybe I missed something, but it really didn’t feel worth the effort at that point.

I don’t mind waiting a bit for a return if the steps are clear, but in this case the process felt slow and kind of confusing. The refund did come through eventually, but it took longer than I think it should have.

"Something felt off from the start"
I bought a gift card thinking it would be a quick, easy way to grab a book, but it turned into a hassle. The voucher code kept getting rejected at checkout, and my gut feeling was that this was going to take way longer than it should. Support eventually got back to me, but it took ages. Just not worth the stress for something that should’ve been simple.

"click and collect was a mess"
i ordered through click and collect and got the email saying it was ready to pick up. when i got there, the staff couldn’t find it anywhere. i ended up waiting around for ages and still left with nothing. it was really frustrating, and nobody even gave a proper apology.
"Checkout gave me a weird feeling"
I don’t know, maybe it was just me, but paying here didn’t feel great. I was checking out late after dinner, so maybe I was already tired, but the whole checkout part felt a bit dodgy and made me hesitate.
"Wrong book and slow shipping"
I ordered three books from Koorong, and somehow one of them ended up being the wrong item. To be fair, I probably picked a busy time to order, but the other two books still took ages to arrive. I emailed them about the mix-up, and maybe I was expecting a quicker response because I needed the book, but the reply was slow and didn’t really give me a clear answer. it was frustrating, and I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again.

I felt like I was charged way too much for what I got. I found the same books cheaper on other sites, even after adding shipping. On top of that, there wasn’t really any update that made me feel better about the order. Just didn’t feel worth it to me.

"Not great for younger kids"
I checked this out with my kids last weekend, and after a few minutes of browsing, I realized some of the books felt a bit too mature for a family-friendly experience. It’s probably fine for older readers, but for younger kids, I’d be a little cautious
"Product info used to be clearer"
I feel like the product pages used to be better. This time I had to click around way too much just to figure out basic things like the edition, size, and what was actually included. A few pages looked kind of unfinished, like the details were only half filled in.
Maybe it’s fine if you already know exactly what you’re buying, but I didn’t. After a while I just didn’t really trust the listing anymore, so I ended up looking somewhere else

"Didn’t feel very comfortable in the store"
I went into Koorong and, the vibe just wasn’t great for me. I’m not saying the staff were rude or anything, because they weren’t, but the store felt quiet in a really awkward way rather than calm or peaceful.
I expected it to feel a bit warmer and more welcoming, but it came across kind of cold and uncomfortable. Maybe I just went at a weird time, but I didn’t really feel like browsing and ended up leaving quickly.

"Decent selection, when it’s actually in stock"
The selection is okay. Not amazing, not terrible. But a lot of the stuff I wanted wasn’t available. Like, I’d find something I liked, then nope. Out of stock or unavailable. Kind of frustrating after a while.

"Wish there were more ways to pay"
I was ready to place my order and everything, but when I got to the payment part, the options were just way more limited than I expected. It’s one of those little things that ends up being more frustrating than it should be, because I didn’t really want to spend extra time figuring out a workaround just to complete a purchase. In the end, I got annoyed and decided to go somewhere else that had payment methods that worked better for me.

I tried placing an order for our church group, and it was more frustrating than it should have been. I kept checking my emails and receipts to make sure everything was right, but when I reached out for group support, they never really gave us the help we needed. It felt like we were mostly left to figure it out ourselves.

"The recommendations missed the mark"
I clicked through a few specific books, even ones in the same genre, and the recommendations still felt completely random. It kept showing me titles I wouldn’t read or buy, and some of them weren’t even close to what I had just searched for. After a while, it just made browsing more frustrating than helpful. For a book site, I expected the suggestions to be a lot better.

"Honestly, not in great shape"
Yeah, I was disappointed with this order, to be honest. The book showed up with bent corners, some scuff marks on the cover, and, like, this weird crease running through a few of the pages. It kind of looked like it had been sitting around for a while or just handled badly before it was shipped. For the price, I really expected a clean new copy, not something that basically looks second hand. So, yeah, I probably won’t be ordering again.

"Pretty disappointing event experience"
I went to a community event recently it felt really poorly organised. The staff seemed rushed the whole time, there wasn’t much of a welcome, and when I asked a couple of questions they basically got ignored. I ended up leaving disappointed. Did anyone else have the same experience?
